Nihar Kaushal is an associate with Levene Tadman Golub Law Corporation, and a member of both the Manitoba Bar Association and the Canadian Bar Association. In June 2023, Nihar was appointed as a part-time Committee Member of the Adult Abuse Registry by the Government of Manitoba. In that capacity, she will review cases of reported adult abuse and ensure that appropriate actions are taken to protect vulnerable adults. Nihar volunteers with the Legal Help Centre, has volunteered with the Canadian Cross-Border Legal Coalition and also enjoys volunteering as the Past President of the Board of the Maple Grove Dog Park Owners’ Association.

Nihar received a Bachelor of Arts in Global Political Economy in 2013 and received her Juris Doctor from the University of Manitoba's Faculty of Law in 2016. During her time in law school, Nihar was a member of Pro Bono Students Canada and volunteered with the Legal Help Centre, The Community Legal Education Association and A Woman’s Place. Nihar was the recipient of the Judge Ross A. Johnston Prize for Family Law as well as the Kim Clare Memorial Award for Volunteerism in her graduating year. Following graduation, Nihar articled with Levene Tadman Golub Law Corporation and received her Call to the Bar in 2017.
